Acceptable Use Policy
This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It exists so that we can act quickly and decisively against misuse that threatens the platform or other customers.
1. You must not
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to facilitate anything unlawful.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity or contractual rights.
- Upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to any system.
- Probe, scan, penetration-test or attempt to breach the security or authentication of the Service without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to access another customer's data, account or environment, or any data you are not authorised to see.
- Scrape, harvest, or use automated means to extract data at a scale or rate that burdens the Service.
- Circumvent usage limits, quotas, seat limits, or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties, or use it to operate a service bureau, except as expressly permitted.
- Send unsolicited bulk email or messages, or use the Service to send communications in breach of Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) or equivalent law.
- Use the Service to store or transmit personal information you have no lawful right to hold.
- Misrepresent your identity, your authority, or your affiliation.
- Interfere with any other customer's use of the Service.
2. Accuracy of guest-facing information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of everything the Service displays to your guests, including prices, taxes, menu descriptions and allergen and dietary information. Allergen data is entered by you and is not verified by us. Publishing inaccurate allergen information can cause serious harm; keeping it correct and current is your obligation, not ours.
3. Employment records
You are responsible for your use of scheduling, time-clock and payroll features, and for your compliance with employment-standards, wage, overtime, break, record-keeping and privacy law. Warnings the Service shows — for example that a roster exceeds an employee's hours cap — are conveniences, not compliance advice, and their absence is not a representation that you are compliant.
4. AI features
Where the Service offers AI assistance, output is generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. You must review it before relying on it or acting on it. You must not use AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive or infringing content.
5. Fair use of capacity
The Service is offered on the basis of normal business use for a venue of your size and plan. We may set and enforce reasonable limits on storage, requests, message volume, seats and processing, and may contact you about use that is disproportionate.
6. Reporting
Report suspected misuse, vulnerabilities or abuse to legal@transiqsys.com. Please do not publicly disclose a suspected vulnerability before giving us a reasonable opportunity to fix it.
7. Enforcement
Depending on the seriousness we may: warn you; require you to remedy the issue within a stated time; throttle or restrict features; suspend access in whole or in part; terminate your account; remove or disable offending content; or report the matter to law enforcement or a regulator. We may act without prior notice where delay would risk harm to the platform, to another customer, or to any person.
